Thanks to Thabo from @FNBSA @MenlynSA for friendly, speedy in-branch service! @HiHelenSA
It is always nice to let top management of the bank know that staff and systems are working at a 10 STAR level. On Wednesday this week I was phoned in the late afternoon by a gentleman by the name of Kyle Africa from FNB Credit Card Fraud detection department. He asked me if I had transacted on my credit card for an amount of R4798.09 in the last couple of minutes. I had not done any transactions and he immediately went into action to advise me my card had been used fraudulently at a merchant in Australia. He advised me that he was in the process of stopping the transaction and cancelling my card to avoid any further transactions. There was an additional transaction of R31.50 with Ster Kinekor which was also not mine. While I was on the phone an email arrived for the transaction and then an sms. FNB CARD picked up the transaction BEFORE I received an advice. OUTSTANDING WORK. Kyle was extremely professional in the way he handled the fraud, but more importantly, the way he handled me and assured me that I had nothing to worry about. I would appreciate it if you could pass on my sincere thanks to Kyle and to his management . The light is shining bright still at the end of the tunnel. I also have the comfort of knowing that my current private banker, Nawaal Bull, is always there for me providing an outstanding level of service.
I was thrilled to hear from Nomandla yesterday that she will be going on maternity leave to have a little girl. However I am going to miss that consistent excellent service including her being able to identify me as soon as I say hello. I am scared to say too much about this young lady as I am sure she will soon be moved into a management roll on return from leave. As a pensioner of FNB (grumpy demanding old men) I must say that I am most sincerely impressed with the way I am looked after. A true asset to FNB.
Good service Always reliable and friendly. Never have to wait long in queues.
