The Funds were received on Friday and were settled within 24 hours of the Claim being submitted to Swisssure . Like most people we pay our insurance premiums religiously never really fully appreciating the benefits afforded to us. Having never really had the need to call on our insurance company, other than the odd bumper bashing, this whole ordeal has been a real eye opener for us. The morning after our traumatic and brutal home invasion, one isn't really thinking straight as there are so many issues and lose ends to address. You do know that an insurance call needs to happen as a matter of priority. It took one call to our broker. Within just a few hours Peter, who lives and works in Cape Town, magically appeared at our doorstep in Johannesburg. With his calm, gentle and kind demeanor he took us through the process slowly and prioritized our immediate needs (like cell phones and counseling).He ensured we weren't feeling like we were rushed through the claim process and checked in at every stage regarding our well-being. Particularly in the initial stages it was so important for us getting the cell phones and counseling in order that we begin to start the process of returning our broken lives back to normal. Additionally one here's horror stories from people regarding the claim process after an event like this. Our experience was quite the opposite. It's our opinion that companies and their brand are built around great employees who put their hearts and souls into what they do.
