For me, this camp taught me that I should look less with my eyes and more with my heart.View this company’s showcase and connect.
Dear Ms. Riana Robinson On Behalf of the Blair Atholl team, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your commitment in sponsoring and partnering with Blair Atholl School. We will always remember your willingness to help our school during the 2015 Nelson Mandela Day Campaign week. It takes a very special person to leave her important work and come to the aid of our school. Your efforts made a difference because you took the time to organise volunteers for specific tasks on specific days. I admire your willingness, energy and organisational abilities. Everyone in the school joins me in thanking you for what you did. Your example has been a great lesson for us all. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude.View this company’s showcase and connect.
The camp was wonderful; touching and extremely fantastic. I learned a lot in such a short period of time. I learned how to make toast without using a toaster. I learned how to stand up for myself and think out of the box. I really found it fun and entertaining (the silly jokes we had together). Kind regards KirstiView this company’s showcase and connect.
For me, the camp was not like any other camp I've been on. It gave me time to reflect, thus giving me a better image of who I really am and what it is that I want to achieve in life. It also guided me on how I should approach situations in life.View this company’s showcase and connect.

Mrs Robinson and her family have been a blessing to my life and my family’s life. She has provided for me and always made sure that I’m on track. She has been a support structure for my spiritual, mental and physical being for the past 5 years. I have had the opportunities of experiencing things in life that my parents could not have presented me with. I have been on camps that groom me to be a real man, have a positive impact on society and be the man I was meant to be. The life lessons that she has taught me will be forever engraved in me and will be passed down to other people. I have been taught to give and reach out even though I might not have a lot cause giving opens up my heart and it will make it easier to give when I have everything. I have been taught basic qualities of being a leader, I have been taught to stand out and not just fit in like the rest of the groups. I’m on proud of who I am and where I come from.View this company’s showcase and connect.
I am a high school student at Jeppe Boys – one of the top institutions in South Africa. My name is Magnus and I am one of the first few chosen candidates of the Ripple Reading programme. I have been to a few of the camps and to be really honest, going to camp is the one of the best things that I have ever done. The camps organized by Ripple Reading aren’t your usual and typical camps. They are camps that nourish our hearts and souls. They have honestly brought depth to my life. These camps provide a platform for us to grow as men and they teach us the fundamentals of being a man. They give us the adventure we need as men. There is really something special about these camps coordinated by Ripple Reading. In my opinion, they will be of great significance to anyone that goes to one and they will change lives of those that go to them (personally speaking). The objectives is of these camps are really great significance. It is really difficult to explain the atmosphere and the importance of these camps because it’s personal and for someone to really know and understand they would have to go on one themselves, to experience it themselves. I would fully encourage someone (anyone as a matter of fact) to go to one and Ripple Reading to organize more of these camps, it would be a decision no one would ever regret.View this company’s showcase and connect.
My journey with Mrs Maryna and Mrs Robinson has indeed been a spectacular one so far, not only did they show me my true potential but they also gave me hope and taught me how to have faith in myself. I have received long awaited lectures, but I always knew that no one would be wasting their time on me if they didn't believe in me. I wanted to change my life for the better. Now I'm in grade 9 at Heron Bridge College and can't get enough of school. I have learned the difference of "not being able to do it" and "not wanting to do it".View this company’s showcase and connect.
I believe life is full of surprises and each day has a new challenge. It’s how you approach the challenge that matters. I’m thankful for the leadership camps I went to. It gave me an opportunity to meet new people and interact with boys from different families or back grounds. I grew as an individual both spiritually and socially, and the camps changed the way I perceive things and act towards them. Today I am chosen as a leader at school and I truly believe it’s all because of the bits and pieces I picked up from the camps that opened up my eyes to see good in others before myself. The camps are surely growth builders. Everybody has a different purpose in life and mountains to climb. I know I’m now prepared for the journey ahead.View this company’s showcase and connect.
